Pro 2 Pro Episode 11: Co-Owner, Managing Partner of Corto Lima TJ Cox
TJ Cox, co-owner and managing partner of Corto Lima restaurant, joins host Keith Hanenian for episode 11 to discuss his path to entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry. A career restaurant and beverage professional, TJ went on to become a Certified Sommelier after opening his first restaurant in 2018.
Further, he embraced the opportunity to develop independent restaurant concepts as a consultant and will be opening another cocktail bar and restaurant in November 2024 in Lexington, Kentucky.
TJ shares his childhood experiences and musical background that informed his approach to creating a restaurant startup from nothing with his business partner Chef Jonathan Lundy.
TJ and Keith talk about the impact of their relationships and how their mindsets continue to shape their perspectives as entrepreneurs. Pro 2 Pro will be creating a small mini-series featuring the new restaurant, 3TEN, as it goes from a shell space to a high-profile establishment in Central Kentucky.
